Every detail, seen to.

From the first message to the moment you’re safely home, one dedicated team holds every thread of your journey — anticipating, arranging, and quietly removing each obstacle before you ever meet it.

What defines it

The seamlessness you feel is a great deal of work you never see.

Great service isn’t grand gestures. It’s a hundred small things handled so well that your only job is to enjoy them.

The best safaris feel effortless — but effortlessness is engineered. Behind every unhurried morning is a chain of arrangements: the flight timed to the light, the dietary note passed ahead, the preference remembered from a conversation months ago, the contingency already in place for the day the weather turns. You experience none of it. You simply arrive, and everything is as it should be.

We keep the house deliberately small so that this is possible. From your first enquiry you deal with a single trip director — one person who learns your journey in detail, holds every thread of it, and is your point of contact from the first message to the moment you’re home. Not a call centre, not a rotating queue: one person who knows.

And no request is too small. A particular pillow, a surprise to mark an anniversary, a change of plan at short notice, a favourite drink waiting on arrival — asked once, quietly noted, and done. This is what private service means to us: not being waited on, but being known.

Small by design. We take on a limited number of journeys at a time — the only way to give each one the attention it deserves. It’s a deliberate choice, and it’s the whole point.

The pillars

Four promises behind every journey

I

One point of contact

A single trip director from enquiry to homecoming, who knows every detail of your journey by heart.

II

Anticipation

Preferences remembered and needs met before they’re voiced — the plan flexed, the drink poured, the moment smoothed.

III

Invisible logistics

Flights, transfers, timings and a hundred quiet arrangements, handled so well you never notice them.

IV

Nothing too small

A specific request, a surprise, a last-minute change — asked once, and simply done.

The one who holds it all

One person, from first message to homecoming.

The single most important thing we offer isn’t a place or a plane. It’s a person who knows.

Your trip director is assigned the moment you enquire and stays with you throughout. They build your journey with you, brief every guide and camp on what matters to you, watch over the trip while you’re travelling, and are the one number you need if anything ever changes. When you land, they already know your name — and everything else.

Because the same person carries your journey end to end, nothing is lost in a handover. The note you made in week one is honoured in month three; the lesson from your first day shapes your second. It’s a quieter kind of luxury than marble and gold — and a far more useful one.

In practice

How the service shows up

Before you travel

Your trip director learns your journey in detail — pace, preferences, dietary needs, the reason for the trip — and builds it around them.

In the planning

Every camp, flight and guide is chosen and briefed for you, with a clear, itemised plan and no loose ends left to chance.

On arrival

A VIP welcome at the airport, the paperwork handled, and a familiar point of contact from the moment you land.

On the ground

A team who anticipate rather than react — the room readied, the drive re-timed, the small comforts already in place.

If plans change

Weather, health or a change of heart: contingencies are pre-planned and handled quietly, without disrupting your day.

After you return

A single relationship that outlasts the trip, ready to pick up exactly where you left off whenever you return.

Good to know

Private service questions

Who will I actually be dealing with?
A single dedicated trip director, from your first enquiry to the day you return home. We keep the house small so you always deal with someone who knows your journey in detail — never a call centre or a rotating queue.
Can you accommodate special requests and dietary needs?
Yes, and gladly — nothing is too small. Dietary requirements, medical needs, celebrations, a particular pillow or a favourite drink: tell us once, and it’s quietly arranged and passed ahead to every camp and guide on your itinerary.
Is someone available while I’m travelling?
Yes. Your trip director watches over your journey throughout and is reachable if anything changes, backed by our on-the-ground team in Kenya. Contingencies are planned in advance, so most problems are solved before they ever reach you.
Do you plan everything, or can I be as involved as I like?
Either. Some guests hand us the whole trip and simply arrive; others love to shape every day with us. We follow your lead — the level of involvement is entirely yours, and it can change as we go.
How do you handle changes or problems during the trip?
Proactively and quietly. Because one team holds your whole journey and contingencies are pre-planned, a change of weather, health or heart is absorbed without fuss. See our approach to security & contingency.
What makes this different from a large tour operator?
Scale, and the relationship it allows. We take on a limited number of journeys so a single person can know yours completely — the opposite of a large operator’s call queue. Read more about the house behind the service.
